We are located across from
Mullett Lake; 4-miles from Burt Lake; 23-miles from Mackinaw City or
Mackinac Bridge; 20-miles from Petoskey (Lake Michigan); 30-miles
from Gaylord (alpine city); 12-miles from Cheboygan (Lake Huron) and
90-miles from Sault Ste Marie and Canada. The Indian
River connects Mullett and Burt Lake. If you so desire, you
may boat from Lake Huron to Mullett Lake to Black Lake or to Mullett
Lake to Indian River to Burt Lake to Crooked Lake and
return. We are centrally located in the middle
of the Straits of Michigan for your summertime enjoyment.
We have 160 shaded campsites, of which, 48 campsites are
full hookup, pull thru with either 50 or 30-amp
service; 38 campsites are full hookup, back-in with 50-amp
serivce; 66 campsites have water and electric (30-amp service)
and 9 log camping cabins. 74 campsites are pull thru with
either full hookup or water and 50 or 30-amp electric service.
For your camping pleasure, we have 2 modern, clean, fully automated
restrooms, laundry facilities, campground store, full propane
service, large and clean inground heated swimming pool, arcade room,
playground for small and older children, volleyball area, basketball
area, horseshoe area, nature trails, 100 person pavilion for your
family/group gathering and evening haywagon ride on the 'HAPPY
CAMPER EXPRESS' for all ages from the very young to the mature
adult. We open in later April or Early May (depending on
temperature) and close in October.
The Indian River RV Resort
& Campground is a place for children, adults and families alike,
can create memories that will last a lifetime. We offer
a campground with large, mature trees with a back to nature
environment which provides an exciting learning adventure for your
entire family.
